Founder, Therapist and Burn-out Coach
My name is Manasi Gaikwad, and I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Coventry University.
My academic and professional journey has been centred around understanding human behaviour, emotional resilience, and the complexities of mental health. Through my work and studies, I have had the opportunity to support individuals navigating challenges related to emotional distress, substance misuse, and recovery.
The work I’m most drawn to lies at a specific intersection the place where ambition, achievement, and anxiety meet. Many of the people I support are externally capable and internally exhausted: high performers running on a nervous system that doesn’t know it’s allowed to rest. Helping them quiet that noise and slowly come home to themselves is the work I find most meaningful.
Alongside this work, I spent couple of years specialising in addiction supporting clients navigating alcohol and substance use, and people working with the compulsive patterns. That work shaped how I think about anxiety more broadly. The same nervous system that overworks to outrun discomfort often reaches for a drink, a substance, or a behaviour to come down from it. I treat both ends of that pattern as part of one conversation.
My experience in mental health settings has taught me that behind every struggle is a human story that deserves understanding rather than judgment.
I believe that empathy, openness, and curiosity are essential in supporting emotional wellbeing. Psychology has not only shaped my professional path but also the way I understand people, relationships, and the inner world we all carry.
Through this blog, I hope to share perspectives that encourage self-reflection, emotional awareness, and a deeper understanding of the mind.
