Who this is for
If any of the following sound familiar, this work might be for you:
- You are praised at work for being driven, thorough, dependable and quietly running on anxiety
- You cannot rest without earning it first, and even then, rest doesn’t feel restful
- You hit goals and feel nothing
- Your weekends collapse you instead of restoring you
- You over-prepare, over-deliver, and over-apologise
- You suspect the way you’ve been functioning isn’t sustainable, but you don’t know what else to do
This is not therapy and it is not a substitute for therapy. Coaching is best suited for adults who are functioning well day-to-day and want a structured, reflective space to understand their patterns and change them.
Who this isn’t for
If you are in mental health crisis, currently being treated for severe anxiety or depression, processing recent trauma, or looking for clinical diagnosis or treatment, coaching is not the right container. I will gently suggest you seek therapy with a registered practitioner in your country, and I am happy to point you in helpful directions.
How I work
Coaching engagements are typically 8 or 12 sessions, scheduled weekly or fortnightly. Each session is 50 minutes, online via Google Meet. Between sessions, you’ll have small reflective practices to take into your week not homework in a productivity sense, but invitations to notice what’s actually happening in your mind and body.
My approach blends psychological insight with practical change. We work with the patterns underneath the symptoms the nervous system, the inner critic, the unspoken rules rather than just the symptoms themselves.
